Farming for Our Future
We're a Southland dairy farming business, operating twenty four dairy farms, six supporting farms, and producing around 7.7 million KgMS annually. Our success is built on the back of a team of 150 farmers, many of whom are graduates of the Fortuna Academy, our in-house training programme.
All are passionate about farming effectively, caring for our animals and for the land. We are proud custodians of the land and farm with the long term vision in mind. We have 286 hectares protected with QEII covenants and plant around 15,000 native plants annually.

Our Farms
We call Southland home. It’s where we milk over 17,000 dairy cows, on some of the most fertile and productive farmland. It’s all split across 24 farms, and six specialist grazing blocks, from the Southern coast to further north and inland. It’s all great farming country. The climate is temperate and we grow some of the highest ME natural pastures in the world.

GOOD CUSTODIANS OF THE LAND
We're farming for the future. We like to think about 100 years time, and this helps us do the right thing around water, soil and climate. We are custodians of the land and want to improve it for the next generation. We've planted 15,000 native plants across our farms, have created many nutrient sinks, and have comprehensive nutrient management to ensure we are putting nutrients in the right place.
